Summer Picnic – 25th June, 2022

At Morden Hall Park.

If you haven’t already done so, please click the link in our recent email to let us know you are coming.

Morden Hall is a National Trust garden.  It isn’t very big, so you should be able to find us.  Please see the map below. We plan to meet in the Rose Garden. We will have some of Thay’s calligraphies with us, so you can identify us if you haven’t attended the Sangha in person recently.  We will update here by 10am on the day if we need to cancel due to weather etc. or if we need to change location within the gardens. Any problems finding us please contact 07801053289 (but please be mindful that we like to keep our sangha gatherings as screen free as possible).

To find the Rose Garden when entering from the car park/Morden Hall tube entrance, walk past the main cafe and garden centre until you will see the Stable Yard Cafe. Don’t enter the courtyard where the cafe is located, but cross the river by the bridge closest to the cafe, past the big waterwheel to enter the Rose Garden (it should be signposted).

Next Family Sangha: Saturday 16th June
Thanks so much for a beautiful gathering last month (picture above). We look forward to seeing you at our next all-ages morning of mindfulness on Saturday 16th June. We’ll be meeting at our usual venue in  Wandsworth. Please arrive from 10:45am for an 11:00 start. We’ll have a shared vegetarian lunch in the middle of the day and will finish our day by 4pm. Please bring some food to share. There will be parallel teens and children’s groups for part of the day.
We request donations of about £10 per adult and £4 per child so that we can cover the rent of the room. Family Sangha London is facilitated by volunteers and is not for profit.
Please let us know if you are coming, and tell us the ages of any children or teens who are coming. And as always, please get in touch with any other questions. We hope to see you soon!
Thanks so much to those who said they’d be interested in helping out in some way – Claudia, Hannah and I will be in touch in a week or so.
